Bad Warranty
I have bought many items from Amazon over the years, but this was my first watch purchase. After reading this review, hopefully you will not make the same mistake I did and buy an expensive watch from them. Amazon claims that they give you the same manufacturer's warranty with the watch you purchase, but this is not true.
I purchased this stylish Movado watch from Amazon 1 year ago. It was a great price for this watch and Amazon claims they give you a 4 year warranty. What they don't tell you is the warranty only applies to movement parts of the watch.
Well after only 1 year, my watch clasp spring broke. (The clasp is needed to actually wear the watch.) The clasp is not covered through Amazon's warranty. The cost to fix the spring is $200-$300. Through a Movado warranty, this repair would have covered if I bought the watch directly through them. Movado will not cover this repair since the watch was brought through Amazon.
Great watch. Stylish and functional. 
First off, I was never one for Movado despite the fact that they are reliable, classic and artistically designed; its designs tend to be too minimalist for me for day-to-day use (e.g., I like minute and date markers on an everyday watch).
Having said that, Movado's "Vizio" line stands apart from their traditional design (there isn't even the ubiquitous Movado dot on models in the "Vizio" line) and it caught my eye when it came out years ago. This particular model is one of the few watches I have found that goes well with both casual and dressy wear. It has a nice, sharp geometric design. A glaring error to point out with the listing on Amazon is that the watch face in actuality is a MUCH darker blue/navy blue than appears in the picture on this page. (My guess is they had the flash on when they shot the picture, making it appear a different hue altogether.) As I had done my research, I knew the picture on the site was WAY OFF color-wise before purchasing, as had the color been the one in the picture it would not look nearly as nice as it does and I would not have purchased it either. The bezel is made of tungsten carbide which supposedly doesn't scratch easily, which is a big plus as the bezel is not adorned with anything. I have another watch (steel) with a plain bezel and while I love it, unfortunately the scratches show way too easily. The links are a brushed streel interspersed with GOLD (per the staff at a Movado store I visited) which likely accounts for the roughness to the touch that the other reviewer mentioned. I like the interspersing of brushed steel though as it helps to make this watch a bit less shiny as a whole and thus more casual - a feature I was looking for. As for other tidbits, from what I can tell so far, the luminescent hands don't really glow in the dark, so if that is a must-have feature for you, you may want to keep it in mind. The face itself is relatively small, about an inch in diameter.
This particular model is discontinued. I had my eye on it years ago and it was easily double the price then, so when I was back in the market for a casual watch I was glad to get it at the price I did on Amazon. Albeit discontinued, it is still floating around on other sites for MUCH more money, so if this is the watch you want, it is a good deal.
As for the warranty, Movado is particular and strict about their warranty so to that end I don't know that I would have bought a Movado from a 3rd party retailer on Amazon (as I would have been subject to the 3rd party's warranty terms). As this particular model was sold by Amazon directly and I am covered by Amazon's warranty, I felt more confident about the online purchase.
I chose the supersaver free shipping (no upgrades) and despite the long leadtime they cover themselves for by default, in actuality it was shipped the same day and was received two days later.
Overall, for my taste this is a good watch for everyday use - as good with a t-shirt as it is with a suit for the office - and I feel it is one that embodies Movado's style and reliability along with the important "everyday functions" that I need in a watch. I hope this model is as reliable over time as other Movados are.

I received the watch on time from Amazon however, I wasn't happy with the way it look and the band feels rough to the touch. My problem started when I try to return this item. I have ordered from Amazon on many occassions but this is the first time I am returning. The customer service is a joke. Everytime you called they tell you a different story. One person said the refund will be process after 3 business days, another said 5 business days and another said it could take up to 4 weeks for the return center to process the return. 4 weeks is outrangous to me! I have a tracking number from USPS. Their Return Center has the watch for over a week and the website and customer service rep indicates that there is still no record of my return. It is very frustrating. Only buy if you are 100% sure you want to keep the item!!!
